Maths Week in Room 6 ➕️➖️🏫✏️

We had a brilliant time in school this week celebrating Maths Week 2024 ➕️➖️✏️🏫

On Tuesday, we had our lovely support teachers, Ms. Byrne, Ms. McConnell and Ms.Creesh come into our class to facilitate some really fun Maths Stations ⏳️🎲🧸🖼🎨 We used our 'Maths Eyes' to find different shapes, numbers and patterns in pictures, we made our own patterns, sorted lots of different items by colour and size and we used playdough to make different shapes.🟣🟢🟡🔴🔵

We got into the Halloween spirit, by completing some Halloween patterns using our scissors and glue sticks 🎃👻✂️✏️

On Friday, we were invited to take part in our school 'Maths Trail' with Ms.Cartwright and the first class boys and girls from Room 2a 👣⁉️📋🔍 We had SO much fun and it was great to get to meet other children in our school community 🏫🤗🥳👏🏼
