News from Room 13

We are having a great week in Room 13 . After welcoming the Spring with St Brigid's day we went on a nature walk searching for signs of Spring. We saw flowers blooming, buds on trees and heard birds singing. 

We also had lots of fun with Outdoor Maths measuring and comparing the length of sticks. We continued measuring in our class using meter tapes, we even measured the length and width of the classroom. Did you know the tallest person ever was over 3m tall? Much too tall to fit through our classroom door!

We revised the alphabet during circle time and learnt the alphabet in sign language too!
