Room 6 Junior Infants - Phonics with Playdough - P
16th Oct 2019
Here in Room 6 we love to use 'márla' to help us learn our new sounds from Jolly Phonics! After we listen to the story and learn the song, we look for words in the picture that begin with our new sound. One of our new sounds this week is 'p' for pig, pink, party and present! After we found words that started with 'p' we all got our márla and made the shape of the letter 'p'. Once we did this, we were allowed to make anything that begins with 'p'. Some made pigs, some made people, some made presents and some made popcorn!
