For the month of November our Aistear theme is 'The Restaurant'. We're learning lots of new words like ingredients, recipe, dining area, menu and more! Make sure to ask us about this at home because it's great for helping us to learn! Inside the restaurant we're playing the roles of chef, waiter, waitress and customer. We need to set the table, give out menus, take food orders, cook the food, serve the customers and take payments for food - so much to do! In the Construction area we're building the restaurant making sure to put in a kitchen and a dining area. In the Playdough area we're making different foods to go on our plates. In the Art area we're imagining we are chefs and designing our own menus. In the Small World area we try to play restaurant with the small figurines and furniture, but sometimes it can turn into other fun scenarios!!
