Here in Room 6 we're learning about Halloween through our Aistear play! Our different stations are giving us plenty of chances to chat about and make things we would associate with Halloween. In the Construction area we're building things like haunted houses, spooky castles, witch hotels and vampire caves. In the Playdough area we're using Halloween shape cutters to make witches, ghosts, bats and more. In the Small World area we're playing with a magical castle and using our imaginations to create a story to follow with our small figurines. In the Sociodramatic area we're playing in the 'Witches and Wizards Workshop'. We get to dress up, cast spell, mix potions and have all sorts of fun. Finally in the Junk Art area we're using old scraps of paper and lollipop sticks to put together some self-designed masks for Halloween. We hope you enjoy looking at our photos! Happy Halloween!
