Fussy Eating Support
Your local HSE Health Promotion Service is delighted to tell you about a new service for parents.
We’re now holding a monthly webinar on the topic of fussy eating. While it's perfectly normal for toddlers and small children to refuse to eat or even taste new foods, that doesn’t mean this isn’t stressful for parents or guardians when it happens. It can also lead to a lot of conflict in a household during mealtimes.
- The free webinar is delivered by 2 dietitians and looks at potential causes of fussy eating, common strategies people use which actually make fussy eating worse, and practical tips on how to encourage children to accept a wider variety of foods.
- The short webinar (about 50 mins in total) is relaxed and informal in its tone. Parents who have watched the webinar report that they felt reassured, and that they had learned strategies that they can implement in their lives. The webinar is suitable for parents or guardians of children aged 1-12 years.
- Anyone can sign up to webinar on the time and date that suits them here: www.bit.ly/fussyeatingDNCC
We would love for you to share this information with your parents and any of your staff who may be interested.
